Dwarves are one of the older races, along with elves. They are not<br />
ones for open spaces and beautiful forests, like elves, but they<br />
prefer dark mines tunneled hundreds of feets below ground. They are<br />
stubborn, and always persistent. During the centuries they have faced<br />
many a hardship, yet they have survived, and have learned how to be<br />
headstrong. They are brave in battle, and boisterous when not in<br />
battle. Dwarves mine the hardest, best quality materials, and they<br />
have developed their metal-working skills into such a degree during<br />
the passing years that no other race could dream of such an exquisite<br />
skill. Dwarves are short and stocky in stature, yet their activities<br />
have brought them strength. They are granted long life, and oldest<br />
ones among them have gained wisdom through life. They bear their<br />
beards proudly, for that is a mark of station among the dwarven<br />
race. It is rare the occasion a dwarven mage steps forward, for only<br />
magic most of them really care about is magic of armor and weapon<br />
creation. <br />
