Devil are, in fact, a beings that has somehow found a gateway away
from lower realms. Sages maintain that life at the lower realms is
brutal, and often is the case that the strongest wins, whilst the
weak strive to survive. Devils are not of the biggest, nor even of
the average sized demons or beings that plague those realms, and
therefore when a gateway to an upper realm, like ours, is found,
devils are first to plunder through. Even when devils are
comparatively puny in their home realm, the matter has to be
re-examined when they enter our realm. They have large, muscular,
humanoid bodies with massive goat-like legs and powerful hands which
look like natural weapons themselves. Their batlike wings and barbed,
snake-like tail adds to the terror of devil's supposed victim. On our
realm they make out a powerful race because of their strong physical
ability and a human-like wit. Devils are known to be extremely
sensitive to water.
